Road pretreatment operations underway by Norman Public Works

Posted 11:00 AM 12/3/25: The National Weather Service reports a wintry mix is possible in the Norman area that may create hazardous road conditions, beginning the evening of the 12/3/25. As a preparation measure, the City of Norman Public Works Department has activated pretreatment operations on the City's primary and secondary snow route system. Drivers should maintain safe distances from heavy equipment in operation. Conditions will continue to be monitored by staff. Should hazardous road conditions occur, travelers who must drive should allot extra time to reach destinations and proceed with caution.
