UNESCO Supports Boy Child Initiative to Inspire Future Leaders

The Boy Child Empowerment Event hosted at the After School Centre in Grysblock on 14 August 2025 successfully brought together 66 boys from six schools across Windhoek, including C.J. Brandt High School, Chairman Mao Zedong High School, Jan Jonker Afrikaner Secondary School, Hage Geingob High School, Highline Secondary School, and the Afterschool Centre.

Under the theme "Shaping Tomorrow's Men Today," the learners had the rare opportunity to interact with and learn from 10 distinguished speakers representing institutions such as the Bank of Namibia, Namibian Police Force, B2Gold Namibia, the Ministry of Health and Social Services, UNICEF, mental health advocates, respected community leaders and UNESCO.
