INGAA Congratulates Newly Confirmed FERC Commissioners

Washington, DC, October 7, 2025 - Interstate Natural GasAssociation of America released the following statement following the Senate confirmations of Laura Swett and David LaCerte to serve on the Federal EnergyRegulatory Commission:

"INGAA commends President Trump for nominating and the Senate for confirming two new commissioners to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and returning the agency to a full complement. Additionally, we congratulate Commissioners Swett and LaCerte on their new roles.

"INGAA has long said that FERC works best when it has a full complement of five commissioners to provide the regulatory certainty necessary for investment in America's energyinfrastructure. Economy-wide energy demandis quickly rising, providing an opportunity for vast economic growth if we can meet the moment by building the needed energyinfrastructure, including natural gaspipelines, to meet that demand. INGAA's members are ready to make the investments needed to meet America's growing energy demand.
