Construction Progress Accelerates on Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway Dongguan Section

In recent days, at the construction site of the Dongguan section of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway in Dongguan city, Guangdong province, workers have seized the "golden season" for spring construction to accelerate project progress.

The Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway is an important component of the coastal corridor within the national "Eight North-South and Eight East-West" high-speed railway network. Once completed and put into operation, it will more closely connect five Greater Bay Area cities-Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen-enabling half-hour high-speed railway connectivity between the Qianhai Free Trade Zone in Shenzhen and the Nansha Free Trade Zone in Guangzhou, and supporting the development of a "rail-based Greater Bay Area."
