Seaford Sunshine Awardee: July 2026

TidalHealth Nanticoke is proud to announce that Jasmine Miguel-Perez, CST, of the Medical Surgical Unit (MSU), has been selected as the July 2026 Sunshine Award recipient.

Miguel-Perez received two nominations from patients who recognized her exceptional care, compassion and ability to make a difference during difficult moments.

One patient described Miguel-Perez as caring, considerate, hardworking and highly skilled, noting her ability to provide compassionate care even when a patient is stressed or uncomfortable.

Another patient, who spent more than a week in the hospital, shared how Miguel-Perez remained a source of encouragement throughout the entire stay.

"Jasmine was super great my whole visit. She kept me informed and uplifted the entire time. She is more than a wonderful tech; she is a compassionate, caring and genuine human being. She deserves this award because truly she was my sunshine during this dark storm in my life."

Congratulations to Miguel-Perez on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for being a source of comfort, encouragement and sunshine for her patients when they need it most.
