Lane Closures on State Routes 49, 108, And 132

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various ramp and lane closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 132 (SR-132), State Route 33 (SR-33), State Route 4 (SR-4), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

• Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Mitchell Road from northbound SR-99 in Ceres for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 20 through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
• Overnight, full closure of the offramp to Tuolumne Boulevard from northbound SR-99 in Modesto for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 20 through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
• Moving, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound SR-99 between Kansas Avenue and Briggsmore Avenue in Modesto for a striping operation beginning Monday, October 21, through Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 4

• One-way traffic control between Milton Road and the Calaveras County line for shoulder work beginning Monday, October 21, through Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 108

• One-way traffic control between Santa Fe Street and Topeka Street in Riverbank for gutter/sidewalk work beginning Monday, October 21, through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 a.m.

State Route 120

• Overnight, one-way traffic control between Stearns Road and Dillwood Road in Oakdale for drainage work beginning Sunday, October 20 through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 132

• Overnight, alternating lane closures between the Tuolumne River near La Grange and Lake Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 20 through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
• Overnight, one-way traffic control between La Grange Dam Road and Quartz Ledge Creek bridge for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 20 through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

State Route 33

• One-way traffic control at M Street in Patterson for paving work on Friday, October 25, 2024. From 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Interstate 5

• Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work.
  Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
