WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) introduced the Dyess CDC Addition Design Authorization Act. The bill expands childcare facilities at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas, including through enhancements to the existing Child Development Center (CDC).
Sen. Cruz said, "We have a duty to ensure that military families in Texas and across the country should never have to worry about accessing childcare near where they are stationed. Expanding childcare facilities at Dyess Air Force Base will significantly enhance the quality of life for the servicemen and women stationed in Abilene. I call on my colleagues to swiftly pass this legislation."
