Take Golden Gate to the Valkyries Parade on November 4

On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, the Golden State Valkyries will host their 2026 WNBA Championship victory parade. The parade begins at noon and will follow along the Embarcadero from the San Francisco Ferry Building to Oracle Park. Fans are encouraged to take public transit to the event so here's everything you need to know about taking Golden Gate Ferry & Golden Gate Bus to the parade.

If you're a regular commuter on our services, we expect a surge in ridership so please arrive early to grab you seats and sign up for alerts in case of any unexpected service disruptions.

Traveling by Golden Gate Ferry

  • Due to high demand, Larkspur ferry trips to San Francisco are already crowded and may reach capacity during peak ridership times. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early and having your Clipper cards, or plastic and mobile bank cards, ready to tap when boarding. Larkspur Ferry overflow parking lot will be open on Wednesday.
  • There is plenty of room on Tiburon and Sausalito trips to the San Francisco Ferry Terminal, but please arrive early to park or take Marin Transit to connect to Sausalito (Routes 17 & 61) and Tiburon (Route 219) terminals. Parking & terminal information for Sausalito and Tiburon can be found here >
  • Check return times carefully! If you're planning to stay for post-parade festivities, the last ferries back to Tiburon and Sausalito leave at 7:15pm. The last Larkspur trip is at 8pm.
  • Gates close 1 minute prior to departure time!
