Andrew County I 29/I 229/Route 71 interchange ramps closed tomorrow for resurfacing project

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to close four ramps at the Andrew County Interstate 29, I-229 and U.S. Route 71 interchange again tomorrow, Tuesday, April 8, due to a resurfacing project on southbound Interstate 29. The following ramps will be closed from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

  • Southbound I-29 to I-229 (Exit 56B)
  • Southbound U.S. Route 71 (59) to southbound I-29
  • Southbound I-29 to northbound U.S. Route 71 (59) (Exit 56A)
  • Northbound I-229 to southbound I-29 (Exit 14A)

Traffic impacts: Traffic will not be able to use the ramps during the closure. Motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
