Pembroke Pines Charter Schools Lottery/Re-Registration

The City of Pembroke Pines Charter School System (PPCSS) will start accepting lottery applications and re-registrations for the 2026-27 school year from January 2nd through February 10th.

Not a PPCSS student yet? All Florida residents are welcome to apply by filling out a lottery application. If you applied last year, to remain on the waitlist and keep your seniority position, you must review and re-submit your child's existing application. All applications must be submitted starting January 2nd through February 10th.

Already a PPCS student? All current PPCS students are required to verify and update their contact information by re-registering your child for the 2026-27 school year starting January 2nd through February 10th.

Current PPCS student requesting a campus reassignment? A reassignment application may be submitted from January 2nd throughJanuary 31st. Reassignments are granted based on seat availability and is not a guarantee. Please note that a re-registration form is still requiredeven when a reassignment is being requested. Reassignments will only be offered until June 17th.

Have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder? The Pembroke Pines Charter School System's Center for Autism, located at 601 SW 172nd Ave, is accepting applications for its elementary program. It provides an academic and social skills setting for children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Small group settings are provided to individualize the needs of each child with an emphasis on curriculum standards, social skills, and sensory processing. The class is taught by a certified teacher with additional support staff. The school's Center for Autism enhances each student's ability to mainstream to a least restrictive environment within the school campus. The application must be submitted starting January 2nd through February 10th.

Our band program has received Superior Ratings for 21 consecutive years. Additionally, the Pembroke Pines Charter High School was recognized by U.S. News and World Report Magazine as one of the nation's best high schools in 2017 and since then has ranked the high school as one of Florida's Top 50 High Schools in Education and rated as a high performing Charter School System by the FLDOE. Per our internal surveys, 92% of our graduates go to a 2-year college or 4-year university. The PPCS system as a whole, was designated a School of Excellence by the Florida Department of Education. For the past 23 years, the Pembroke Pines Charter School Elementary and Middle schools have earned an "A" rating, and the high school has earned an "A" rating for 17 years, based on state assessment scores and other factors.
