Helena, Mont. Oct. 24, 2025 - NorthWestern Energy has announced Wes Feist as its new Community Relations Manager serving the Helena area. He succeeds Howard Skjervew, who retired earlier this summer.
A lifelong resident of East Helena, Feist brings a strong background in public service and community engagement. He currently serves on the East Helena City Council and has held several leadership roles in state government, including Business Operations Analyst with the Montana Department of Administration and Director of the State Workforce Innovation Board at the Montana Department of Labor & Industry. He also served as Director of Career Services at Carroll College.
Feist holds a bachelor's degree in management, finance, human resource management, and leadership studies from Johnson & Wales University in Denver. He earned a master's degree in higher education, organization and governance, and public policy from the University of Denver.
Active in the local business community, Feist is a board member of the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce, Montana Business Assistance Connection Inc., and the Helena Area Community Foundation.
