Candidates who have filled the options in this extended period can check their allotment on the central portal llb5cap26.mahacet.org. The merit list is prepared for the remaining Against CAP (ACAP) and management quota vacancies based on the normalized CET scores, and the shortlisted candidates are required to physically report to the allotted law institutes with original document credentials and fees by the final reporting deadline, i.e., October 10, 2026.

Candidates can check their selection status without logging into individual portal accounts:

• Go to the official admission link at llb5cap26.mahacet.org.
• On the home screen, click on the "Check Institute Level Merit List / Vacancy/Allotment" tab.
• From the dropdown list, choose Extended Institute Level Round.
• To get the generated list in the form of a PDF, select the desired University and College name.
• Apply the search function (Ctrl + F) to search for the name of the applicant or Application ID.

Candidate Instructions and Reporting Guidelines

Selected candidates are required to follow the below mandatory steps to confirm their law seat before time runs out:

Physical Verification Drive: Candidates who have been merit listed must personally report to the allotted law college with all original academic transcripts and category documentation.

Final Reporting Cutoff: All enrollment formalities, document validation, and fee payment should be completed by October 10, 2026.

Compulsory Campus Notice Board Display: All participating law colleges must upload the verified merit lists to their web portal and also display them on their campus notice boards.

Automatic Vacancy Forfeiture: If a candidate does not report or submit fees before the deadline, the seat will be forfeited and reallocated.
