Chinese Ambassador to Norway Hou Yue Meets Chair of the Storting’s Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee Ine Eriksen Søreide

On January 14, Ambassador Hou Yue met with Ms. Ine Eriksen Søreide, Chair of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee of the Storting of Norway.

Ambassador Hou said that during the past year, China and Norway have taken the opportunity of the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations to promote positive progress in bilateral relations. Our two leaders reached important consensus on further deepening cooperation in all aspects and the Dialogue on the Green Transition was established. China is willing to continue to strengthen the two legislative bodies' exchanges and cooperation at all levels and in all fields to advance mutual development.

Ms. Søreide commended the fruitful results achieved through  China-Norway cooperation. She said that the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee is willing to continue to play a constructive role and promote the sustained, healthy and stable development of China-Norway relations.
