Lively Technical College and Dale Earnhardt Dealerships Partnership Strengthen Automotive Training Program at Lincoln High School

Lively Technical College is proud to recognize Dale Earnhardt Dealerships for its continued investment in the future of Tallahassee's skilled workforce. Through this partnership, funding was provided to support automotive training at two local high schools and the Lively main campus, bringing industry-relevant equipment directly into the classroom. The official unveiling of this new equipment will be held at Lincoln High School on Tuesday, Sept. 1, where representatives from Dale Earnhardt, Leon County Schools, Lincoln High School and Lively Technical College's automotive instructional team will be in attendance.

"This partnership is a great example of what can happen when education and industry work together to give students the tools they need to succeed," said BJ Van Camp, Director of Lively Technical College. "We are especially grateful to Shane Woodyard and Dale Earnhardt Dealerships for their investment in our students and their commitment to strengthening automotive education in our community. By bringing current industry technology into the classroom, they are helping our students build real-world skills and gain experience that will prepare them for successful careers."

As part of this partnership, Dale Earnhardt Dealerships' donation, combined with matching funds from Lively Technical College, made possible the purchase of a Road Force WalkAway Tire Balancer for Lincoln High School's automotive program. The new equipment will allow students to train with technology similar to what they will encounter on the job, providing valuable hands-on experience and better preparing them for continued education and successful careers.
