"Today bears a deep, historic symbolism. For the first time, Greek women, having chosen to follow the path of military service voluntarily, stand beside their male colleagues, taking the same sacred oath of loyalty to the Country.
Here, in the historic Camp TSAKALOU in Lamia, they successfully completed the first step. As of today, they proceed to the next stage of their training, where in the following weeks, they will acquire all the skills of a modern fighter.
I would like to congratulate all of you for the successful completion of that first stage, welcome you to the ranks of the Armed Forces, and wish you strength, health, and success during your service".
