Crossroads Dog Park to Close for Turf Improvements; Alternate Dog Runs Will Be Available

Gilbert, Ariz. - Beginning Monday, July 6, the dog park at Crossroads Park will temporarily close for approximately three to five weeks to allow newly installed turf to become fully established.

To continue providing a place for dogs to exercise during the closure, the Town will open temporary small-dog and large-dog run areas adjacent to the existing park. Each temporary dog run will be fully enclosed, and an additional perimeter fence will surround both areas to provide the same secure environment visitors expect while improvements are completed.

The temporary dog runs will remain open throughout construction.

Planned improvements at Cosmo Dog Park will also begin on July 6. The Cosmo dog runs will remain open, but the dog beach and lake area will be temporarily closed for maintenance until August 10. During this time, water access for dogs at Cosmo will not be available.

These projects are designed to enhance the experience for visitors while ensuring both parks remain safe, functional, and enjoyable for years to come.

Check back for more updates on both projects.
