Chinese Ambassador to Solomon Islands Cai Weiming Meets with Hon. Jeremiah Manele, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands

On December 31, 2025, H.E. Cai Weiming, Chinese Ambassador to Solomon Islands,met with Hon. Jeremiah Manele, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, and had an in-depth exchange of views on bilateral relations.

Ambassador Cai extended New Year greetings to PM Manele, and said that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, cooperation between China and Solomon Islands in various fields has made fruitful achievements. China looks forward to further deepening exchanges and cooperation with Solomon Islands on the basis of the one-China principle to promote bilateral relations to new heights.

PM Manele expressed his gratitude for China's strong supports and assistance to the development and construction of Solomon Islands. He stressed that government of Solomon Islands firmly adheres to the one-China principle, and supports China's national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Solomon Islands is willing to work with China to deepen bilateral cooperation in various fields and better benefit the people of both countries.
