Chinese Ambassador to Liberia Yin Chengwu Meets with Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives of Liberia, Hon. Nehker E. Gaye

On March 4, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, met with Hon. Nehker E. Gaye, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives of Liberia.

Yin briefed Hon. Gaye on China's zero-tariff policy for African countries and the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges, expressed that China would like to strengthen ties between the legislative bodies of the two countries, deepen bilateral economic and trade relations, promote people-to-people exchanges, and constantly enrich the connotation of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Hon. Gaye stated that the House of Representatives of Liberia adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the National People's Congress of China, serving the development of Liberia and promoting the progress of bilateral relations.
