WATCH: DGA External Affairs Director Ofirah Yheskel on MS NOW: Disastrous Trump-Lombardo Economy Hitting Nevada Hard
DGA Director of External Affairs Ofirah Yheskel joined MS NOW's The Weekend to discuss how Trump's disastrous economic agenda is a massive vulnerability for Republicans running for governor across the country - especially in Nevada, where the Lombardo-Trump economy has sent prices sky high. While Joe Lombardo falsely claims that he can't do anything about affordability, Ofirah highlights how Nevadans have been slapped with the second-highest grocery bills in the country and how Aaron Ford is beating Lombardo in a new poll as he stays laser-focused on lowering costs.
This comes as a new poll shows Ford is now narrowly leading Lombardo, and as A More Affordable Nevada - a group backed by the DGA - is running ads in both English and Spanish slamming Lombardo for driving up costs on hardworking Nevadans and even saying they "need to feel a little pain."

Ofirah Yheskel: "Every single day, the map is looking more and more competitive for Democrats. And we're seeing states come online that maybe in January we wouldn't have been talking about because the Trump-Vance policies have been so disastrous…And no state is feeling that more than Nevada right now. It's ground zero for being at the center of [Trump's] disastrous economic policies. They have the second-highest weekly grocery bills in the country, gas prices are hitting them hard, and that's why you see Joe Lombardo, the most vulnerable Republican governor in the country - Aaron Ford in an Emerson poll was leading him for the first time in a long time…Trump knows that this is a party in a really vulnerable place and every time he talks about checks for $5,000…it's because he broke his day-one promise to lower costs."
