Emergency Medicine's Premier Meeting, ACEP26, Set for Chicago

WASHINGTON, DC-Thousands of emergency physicians, researchers, and health care leaders will convene in Chicago for ACEP26, the world's largest emergency medicine conference, presented by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) on October 5-8.

Media, social media and podcast creators can register to attend the conference for free. Podcast creators are invited to complete the form and apply to use ACEP's on-site podcast studio to record conversations with subject-matter experts attending the conference.

ACEP26 kicks off October 5 with an inspiring opening session, "New Frontiers in Emergency Medicine," featuring astronaut and emergency physician Anil Menon, MD, who will speak to attendees from inside the International Space Station about resilience and lessons from practicing medicine in extreme environments.

The new AI Innovation Zone will showcase emergency medicine technologies in live demonstrations. Attendees will experience customizable learning tracks, hands-on skills labs, more than 40 ACEP section meetings, and a full calendar of social and networking events over four days.

Educational courses led by emergency physicians address emergency medicine topics including EMS and disaster response, pediatric and geriatric emergencies, toxicology, healthcare policy, and more. Course times and availability are subject to change.

Media, social media and podcast creators can register for free access to public presentations, educational courses, and the Research Forum, the specialty's showcase for new and emerging findings that may shape future emergency medicine practice.

Research Forum abstracts will be published in a supplement to Annals of Emergency Medicine and can be requested by contacting [email protected].

Interviews with ACEP leaders, physician faculty, speakers, and research authors are available.
