Youth Volunteer Program Returns to Denver International Airport to Inspire the Next Generation of Aviation Enthusiasts

DENVER - Mar. 2, 2026 - The volunteer Teen Navigator Program is back at Denver International Airport (DEN) for its fourth year. The 10-week summer volunteer program is designed for high school students over the age of 15 who are interested in learning more about the aviation industry and helping passengers navigate the airport.

The Teen Navigator Program is ideal for teens looking to broaden their experience. Volunteers are exposed to a wide range of airport operations, gain cross departmental insight into how the airport functions and strengthen their customer service skills.

Teen navigators volunteer at DEN for a minimum of 28 hours during the program. Students will have the opportunity to participate in educational tours and training sessions to obtain skills and knowledge about DEN and the aviation industry. All volunteers must be at least 15 years old at the date of application.

The application for the 2026 program is open until Sunday, March 22 at 5 p.m. The program will kick off with a required orientation on June 6, 2026, and will end on Sunday, August 16.
