BOZEMAN - The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Montana State University will hold a virtual Friday Forum on Nov. 14 to discuss recycling in Bozeman and Gallatin County.
The forum, "Recycling in Bozeman: Availability, Impacts and Challenges," will stream on Zoom from noon to 1:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The event will explore the impact of local and regional recycling, including the current state of Gallatin Valley's recycling efforts, commercial opportunities and challenges for consumers and providers.
Speakers will include Nick Ross, the city of Bozeman's director of transportation and engineering who oversees solid waste management, and Dave Leverett, owner of We Recycle Montana, who has more than 30 years of commercial recycling experience in the Greater Yellowstone region.
Friday Forums occur on the second Friday of the month through May. Participants must register for the recycling forum before 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14.
