Police officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of W. Andover regarding two males reportedly attempting to enter parked vehicles.
Before officers arrived, the suspects fled the area in a vehicle that had been reported stolen. A short time later, officers located the vehicle in the 5600 block of Stonewood Court. As officers approached, four individuals fled from the vehicle into a wooded area.
Following a brief foot pursuit, officers apprehended two suspects, identified as a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old male. The remaining two suspects were not located.
Both juveniles were transported to the Peoria Police Department for interviewing purposes and subsequently arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Obstructing Police. Evidence was later developed, leading to both suspects also being arrested for Burglary to a Motor Vehicle.
They were transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
