The Frostburg State University Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance invites the public to an evening of fresh, original music at "New Music from the Mountains IV" on Monday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center.
The free concert, which will also be livestreamed, features compositions and arrangements by talented FSU student composers, including Gavin Baker, Martin Harden, Zach Inglish, and Joe Rubens III. FSU music majors, faculty members, and ensembles will bring these new works to life in an intimate recital setting.
The recital continues the department's tradition of promoting student creativity and showcasing the talent and hard work coming out of the program. Whether you're a music lover, a fellow musician, or simply looking for an inspiring evening, "New Music from the Mountains IV" offers the opportunity at a first listen to new music from the next generation of musicians at Frostburg State University.
