The University of North Florida's Research Week is a University-wide celebration of research, creativity and innovation across all disciplines, taking place April 16 to April 24. Research Week includes shocases, workshops and symposia. The week culminates with faculty being recognized during the STARS poster competition and award ceremony.
Events are designed to showcase the breadth of prestigious research conducted by UNF students, faculty and staff. All members of the community are invited to attend.
"UNF Research Week celebrates how our researchers turn ideas into impact, driving innovation, informing solutions and improving lives far beyond our University," said Dr. Kim Mayer, chief research officer.

Community Lecture Series: From Prevention to Possibility: Research That Shapes Everyday Health

The UNF MedNexus Community Lecture Series will explore how university research moves from the labs to everyday life by blending brief faculty reflections with moderated conversation and audience dialogue. Featuring UNF faculty whose work spans disease prevention, public health, movement and mobility, and the human dimensions of caregiving, this event highlights how research translates into real-world impact for individuals, families and communities. The annual AI Symposium brings together faculty, staff and students to explore how artificial intelligence is being used across teaching, research and operations. The symposium will feature a keynote address from Dr. Josh Gellers, UNF's AI Faculty Fellow, along with presentations from recipients of UNF's AI grant program that showcase practical, high-impact projects already making a difference across campus.
