Untimely Death Investigation in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that members of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit, and the Tuftonboro Police Department, have responded to the Town of Tuftonboro for the report of
the untimely death of two adults.

This morning at about 9:24 a.m., the Tuftonboro Police Department responded to a single-family summer residence in Tuftonboro. Outside of the home, they discovered the two deceased adult homeowners.

Although the investigation is in the early stages, there does not appear to be any threat to the general public in connection with these two deaths. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the deaths are likely the result of a murder/suicide.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation, and after notification of next of kin.
