U.S. Chamber, Greater Bakersfield Chamber Convene Rep. David Valadao and Local Business Leaders on Surface Transportation Funding

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Greater Bakersfield Chamber, recently convened a roundtable discussion with Rep. David Valadao (CA-22) and local business leaders. The conversation focused on the importance of ensuring that federal transportation funding continues to support California's economy and communities.

The event, part of the U.S. Chamber's Keep America Moving national infrastructure tour, is helping build momentum for Congress to enact a new, long-term surface transportation bill.

"Robust, long-term federal funding for transportation infrastructure is essential for economic growth," said Jennings Imel, Vice President at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
