City Offices, Library Closed June 19 for In-Service Day
June 13, 2025 - All City offices and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed on Thursday, June 19 for a staff in-service day on Juneteenth.
Refuse, recycling, and heavy item and brush collection services will operate as scheduled on June 19. Items should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection.
The Sanitary Landfill will be open regular hours from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Dial-A-Ride will operate regular bus service hours on June 19 with reduced phone service hours from 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
During the office closure, some online City services will be unavailable via the City's website. Online bill payment, curbside collection schedules, construction updates, and some sections of the GIS mapping tool will be down temporarily from approximately 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday. Other information and services will be available at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov.
The Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended on June 19.
