DGA Launches Digital Ads Exposing Why Pennsylvanians Can't Trust Stacy Garrity

As Stacy Garrity continues her tour to tout the Pennsylvania GOP's unenthusiastic endorsement of her campaign, the Democratic Governors Association is launching new digital ads warning families across the Commonwealth why they cannot trust Garrity.

In Cumberland, Bucks, and Lackawanna counties, the ads highlight how Garrity applauded stripping away Medicaid coverage and killing jobs - including more than 20,000 energy jobs in Pennsylvania - while raising everyday costs and energy prices for families across the state. Garrity even went so far as to call Republicans' disastrous budget bill a "huge win." In each county, the ads highlight how many thousands of residents will lose health care as a result of the legislation Garrity celebrated.

"Pennsylvanians deserve to know how many of their neighbors will lose their jobs and their health insurance as a result of the extreme legislation Garrity supported," said DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy. "Garrity's total support for taking away health care and killing the energy jobs that power Pennsylvania's economy is another reason why Pennsylvania families cannot afford her as governor."
