Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications Minna Kivimäki pays an advocacy visit to Brussels, Belgium on 15-17 October 2025. During the visit, Kivimäki meets European Commission representatives and Finnish Members of European Parliament.

The agenda includes several meetings where the focus will be on topical initiatives and legislative projects concerning digitalisation, data economy and AI. The topics to be discussed also include the future of communications networks and cyber security, and the development of transport and shipping.

Permanent Secretary Kivimäki meets heads of cabinet of Commissioners, Directors at the European Commission's Directorates-General and the Commission's Deputy Secretary-General. She also meets Finnish Members of European Parliament.
