Ambassador's Meeting with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt

On February 15, 2026, Tajik Ambassador to Egypt Parviz Mirzozoda met with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sharif Fathi Atiyah.

Referring to the development of relations in recent years and the increase in traffic between Tajikistan and Egypt, the parties considered it important to expeditiously prepare and sign an Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Tourism, which is currently under consideration by Egypt.

A draft Memorandum of Understanding between the museums of the two countries, which is also under consideration by the Egyptian side, was also discussed at the meeting.
