Prague – European fair for university education and lifelong learning

The Italian Cultural Institute of Prague participated yesterday for the first time in Gaudeamus, the European Fair for University Education and Lifelong Learning. Now in its eighteenth edition, the Fair is held annually in the Czech capital, as well as in Brno and in the cities of Nitra, Bratislava and Košice in Slovakia.

During a meeting with students, the Director of the Institute, Marialuisa Pappalardo, presented an overview of the Italian higher education system and the study opportunities offered by Italian universities, including degree programmes taught in both Italian and English.

The aim of the Fair is to serve as a meeting point for representatives of higher education institutions from around the world and prospective students, while also providing a platform for the exchange of comprehensive information on opportunities for university education and lifelong learning in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and abroad.

The majority of public and private universities from the Czech Republic and Slovakia are among the exhibitors. Language schools, consultancy institutions and an ever-growing number of foreign universities are also taking part.
