Join the annual Neighborhood Litter Stomp event on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8-11 a.m., hosted by Keep Fort Worth Beautiful (KFWB). Enjoy the cooler weather, family and friends and make a positive difference in your community.
What is Neighborhood Litter Stomp? Every fall, Keep Fort Worth Beautiful hosts this citywide litter cleanup to promote litter source control as well as community pride. Volunteers get to choose which area of the city they want to clean up. This can be a preselected hub location, neighborhood, school, City park or any public area in Fort Worth. It's a great opportunity to get your friends, family and neighbors involved to support community cleanup efforts.
How do I participate? Gather a group or participate solo, but the first 1,000 volunteers who register will receive a free T-shirt, while they last. Free litter cleanup supplies will also be provided for the event. Registration opens Monday, Sept. 1, and will be available online through the Neighborhood Litter Stomp website.
How to register:
Once submitted, you will receive confirmation of your registration. Supplies and T-shirts will be available for pickup on Friday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods, located at 818 Missouri Ave., 76104.
If you have questions, contact Keep Fort Worth Beautiful at 817-392-2046 or email.
