One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Route 16 (SR-16), SR-49, and SR-88 in Amador County next week.

State Route 16

  • One-way traffic control between SR-124 and SR-49 for electrical work beginning Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control between Laverone Street and one mile north of Laverone Street in Plymouth for electrical work beginning Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Bell Road and Cosumnes River for electrical work beginning Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control between Golf Links Drive and Shake Ridge Road for drainage work beginning Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Martin Lane and SR-124 for tree work on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Old Emigrant Way and Raven Road in Pioneer for maintenance work on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Raven Road and Columbia Drive for tree work on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Stella Court for utility work on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between SR-104 and Sunset Drive West for electrical work beginning Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Dew Drop Road for electrical work beginning Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at the 7,000-foot elevation marker for electrical work beginning Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
