Workshop Topics and Discussion Overview
April 7 Workshop: Scenario Design
The April 7 workshop will focus on scenario design for the Mitigation Plan and IRP processes. The Agencies will provide an overview of stakeholder feedback received during prior workshops and present draft recommendations for scenario topics and key drivers. Stakeholders will be invited to provide input on the proposed recommendations.
April 10 Workshop: Eligible Resources and Emissions
The April 10 workshop will focus on proposed updates to the candidate resource types to be used in two processes, including Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) definitions. The Agencies will then seek stakeholder feedback on the proposals, along with supporting data and modeling assumptions (e.g., VPP modeling), including development timelines and cost assumptions for emerging technologies. Stakeholders will be invited to provide feedback on these proposals.
