Hello,
I hope you were able to get out and enjoy the great outdoors last week during National Park Week! Here on the North Coast, we are incredibly lucky to have some of our nation's most spectacular public lands right in our own backyard - from Redwood National and State Parks and Muir Woods National Monument to Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Point Reyes National Seashore.
To mark the week, I'd love to see some of your pictures of the many parks and public lands in our district. Some of your photos might even get featured on my channels!Help us celebrate National Park Week by sharing your photos here.
Unfortunately, the Trump administration has shown a complete disregard for the importance of our public lands, gutting the Park Service and slashing the workforce our parks need to remain open, safe, and accessible.
In response, I've been fighting even harder to preserve our parks - conducting oversight of the Park Service to protect transparency and accountability, and working on meaningful bipartisan legislation to address the maintenance backlog, strengthen park staffing, and ensure visitors can safely access and enjoy our public lands.
The parks throughout our beautiful congressional district are national treasures, and I'll continue doing everything I can to protect them.
There is so much to love about our nation's parks. Take the survey below to share what you love most about national parks!

As the August district work period concludes and I head back to Washington, I'll make sure the voices of North Coast families are heard and continue fighting to protect the parks and public lands that are so important to our communities.

Thank you, and stay well,
