RocketFest 2026 Celebrates UToledo Students Beginning Monday
The University of Toledo is celebrating its students with a week of fun, food and activities during RocketFest 2026.
The weeklong celebration features daily events across campus from Monday, April 6, through Sunday, April 12. Additionally, Presidential Ambassadors will provide students with rides to class on golf carts throughout the week, with specific times to be announced.
Bands at the Bonfire in the Flatlands from 7 to 10 p.m. on April 9 is one of several events scheduled during the weeklong RocketFest.
Highlights of the RocketFest 2026 schedule include:
• Monday, April 6: Community Yoga in Thompson Student Union Room 2592 from 11 a.m. to noon, and a pool party hosted by UToledo Student Government at the Student Recreation Center from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, April 7: Student Government Sweets at Centennial Mall from noon to 2 p.m. Evening events include Paint a Piggy Bank with UToledo Financial Wellness Counselors and Global Latin Student Union Tote Bag Making, both in Thompson Student Union Room 1512 at 5 p.m. Later, Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) will host "Sex in the Dark" in Thompson Student Union Room 2582 from 7 to 8 p.m., and Multicultural Greek Council will host "Taste of Multicultural" in Thompson Student Union Ingman Room from 7 to 9 p.m.
• Wednesday, April 8: Student Appreciation Day at Centennial Mall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Celebrate with food trucks, interactive activities and T-shirts. Free food truck tickets and T-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Thursday, April 9: Bands at the Bonfire in the Flatlands from 7 to 10 p.m.
• Friday, April 10: Earth Fest at Centennial Mall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., where students can visit booths to learn about local environmental-related organizations. It will be followed by Holi, the ancient Hindu festival of colors, at Centennial Mall from 3 to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, April 11: The Global Latin Student Union (GLSU) Gala in Thompson Student Union Auditorium from 5 to 10 p.m.
• Sunday, April 12: Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) Pride at Centennial Mall from 3 to 6 p.m.
