All-Conference forward Allie Myers to join Tarleton State Women’s Basketball

STEPHENVILLE, Texas - Former All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference forward Allie Myers has signed with Tarleton State Women's Basketball.

Myers, a two-year standout at Seward County Community College, was one of the top rebounders in the NJCAA as a freshman, averaging 13 rebounds per game. Born in Odessa, Texas, Myers led the Lady Saints in rebounding in her sophomore campaign en route to a 20-win season.

"Allie is an athletic front court player that brings two years of collegiate experience from Seward County Community College," head coach said. "She has received All-Conference accolades in the ultra competitive Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, and I know her work ethic in the classroom and on the court will translate well to our program at Tarleton State. Numerous junior college players have experienced success here and Allie no doubt will continue that tradition. She is prepared and ready for the next step in her basketball career and we can't wait for her to arrive on campus this summer. Welcome to the Texan Family, Allie!"

Averaging a double-double of 11.5 points and 13.0 rebounds per game as a freshman, Myers led the KJCCC in rebounding and ranked third in the NJCAA in that category. Myers recorded 14 double-doubles while shattering the single season rebounds record for Seward County with 389. The 6-foot-2-inch forward also broke the program's single game rebounding record with 23 against Otero, her second collegiate game. Myers had four 20+ rebounding games and scored a career-high 30 points against NW Kansas Tech.

After earning All-KJCCC Second Team honors in 2023-24, Myers recorded three double-doubles in her sophomore season. She came down with 19 rebounds in the regular season finale against Garden City Community College, averaging 11.6 rebounds per game in her final three contests in a Seward County uniform. Leading the team in rebounding with just over eight boards per game, Myers helped the Lady Saints to its first 20-win season since 2021-22.

Moving to Carlsbad, New Mexico, from Texas, Myers was a standout at Carlsbad High School. She averaged 15 points per game to go with six boards per game as a senior, earning her First Team All-District honors.

Myers is the fourth Texan to sign as a transfer for 2025-26, joining forward Jaylynn Brill (Chipola/Western Kentucky), forward Shadasia Brackens (North Texas) and guard Gia Adams (North Texas/UTA). She joins three returning letterwinners and four freshmen on the Texans' 2025-26 roster.

Tarleton State is coming off a historic season in 2024-25. The Texans finished with a Division I program record 20 wins en route to its first-ever Division I postseason bid. Finishing second in the WAC, Tarleton State received an automatic bid to the WNIT and played its first-ever Division I postseason game at Wisdom Gym on March 23, 2025.
