"Peaches" - A sweet mixed breed named Peaches could be the perfect match for a veteran and her son, who are ready to welcome a new dog into their family. But before Peaches can join them in their forever home, Brandon must polish her basic obedience and break her of a certain habit. (OAD 10/10/26)

"Archie & Doug" - A woman is hoping a dog will help ease her anxiety, but doesn't know if Archie, a 2-year-old vizsla with his own anxiety, is the right match. And the staff of a senior living community believe a Maltese mix named Doug could be the perfect dog to brighten the lives of their residents. (OAD 10/11/25)

HOPE IN THE WILD

"Corvid Curriculum" - Hope's team prepares a pair of crows for release, tries to feed a mischievous raven and welcomes the first deer orphans of the year. (NEW)

THE VISIONEERS WITH ZAY HARDING

"Lady Bird's Legacy, Butterfly Hues, and Ocean Mammals" - Follow Zay Harding as he explores Lady Bird Johnson's wildflower legacy in full bloom, flutters into the science of extracting natural colors from butterfly wings, and releases rehabilitated marine mammals back into the wild to monitor ocean health. "Napoleon Bone-Apart" - Veterinarian Chris Brown is called out to help a pet pig that won't stop digging up the garden. A paralyzed guinea pig is rushed in after an unfortunate accident on a trampoline. And Napoleon, the tiny pug, is brought into SASH after a terrible fight with his owner's 6-year-old mastiff. THE OPEN ROAD WITH DR. CHRIS

"Defying Gravity" - Dr. Chris travels to Lord Howe Island to get an up-close look at some very unique birds. He then takes on several gravity-defying challenges including climbing a coconut tree and riding the fastest roller coaster in the world. (OAD 10/29/16)

The CBS WKND block is FCC educational/informational (E/I) compliant, targeted to 13- to 16-year-olds and appealing to all viewers. All the programs are specifically designed to further the educational and informational needs of children, have educating and informing children as a significant purpose, and otherwise meet the definition of Core Programming as specified in the Commission's rules.
