Commodore Barry Bridge Travel Advisory: Lane Restrictions This Weekend
Motorists traveling across the Commodore Barry Bridge this weekend should plan ahead and expect delays due to ongoing painting work.
From 7:00 p.m. Friday through 5:00 a.m. Monday, only one lane will be open eastbound to New Jersey. Westbound traffic to Pennsylvania will be maintained with two lanes open.
These lane restrictions are necessary to provide crews with safe access to perform critical painting operations on the bridge structure.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, especially during peak travel periods, and consider using alternate crossings if possible.
