Am 18. August starten die European Deaf Youth Games (EDYG) in Hannover. Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte kommen rund 400 junge, gehörlose Sportlerinnen und Sportler aus ganz Europa zusammen, um sich in verschiedenen Disziplinen zu messen - und um sich kennenzulernen, anzufeuern und Freundschaften zu schließen. Bundespräsident Steinmeier und Elke Büdenbender wünschen allen Athletinnen und Athleten viel Erfolg!
