Statement on Federal Funding Award

August 13, 2025

The Ohio Air Quality Development Authority (OAQDA) has received official notice from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency terminating the federal Solar for All award.

While this change affects only this one initiative, OAQDA remains steadfast in its mission and as a partner focused on economic growth in Ohio. The agency continues to work closely with local government officials, business leaders, and state partners to deliver meaningful economic benefits - supporting job creation, energy cost savings, and long-term infrastructure investment in Ohio communities. In fact, so far in 2025, OAQDA has approved nearly $312 million in bond financing, utilized by banks and investors across the state, underscoring its ongoing role as a driver of economic development and strong public-private partnerships across the state.

We encourage any interested businesses and communities seeking financial assistance to contact us to learn more about our financing programs.
