Hurricane Preparedness and Safety Fair June 28

The League City Office of Emergency Management is hosting the third annual Hurricane Preparedness and Safety Fair in collaboration with Galveston County, Dickinson, Kemah, Friendswood, and Webster. The FREE event is designed to help residents prepare for hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to November 30.

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center (400 West Walker Street)

The fair will feature a seasonal outlook from a meteorologist with the National Weather Service Houston-Galveston, door prizes, a touch-a-truck event with emergency response vehicles, face painting, preparedness vendors, kids' activities, music, free food, and more.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from local emergency management agencies, learn about evacuation routes, and gather important preparedness and safety information.
