Harper Niver, DO, Joins Tanner Health’s Comprehensive Breast Care Center

Tanner Health's Comprehensive Breast Care Center has expanded its team with the addition of Harper Niver, DO, a board-certified general surgeon specializing in breast surgery and breast surgical oncology.

Dr. Niver earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She completed her residency in general surgery at the Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, where she served as surgical resident research chief, and completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

With advanced training in both the treatment and surgical management of breast disease, Dr. Niver provides patient-centered, compassionate care as part of Tanner's complete approach to breast health and breast cancer treatment. She is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Surgical Palliative Care Society.

She joins Vince Scoglietti, MD; Raul Zunzunegui, MD, FACS; and April Allen, FNP-C, in providing a complete approach to breast health and breast cancer care for patients across west Georgia and east Alabama.
