The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral discussions Monday, in Jeddah, with the Foreign Minister of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, on the sidelines of his participation in the extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the current state of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and prospects for strengthening and advancing them to higher levels, particularly in light of ongoing preparations for the 1st Algerian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council.
The two ministers also discussed recent developments in the Middle East, primarily the serious developments affecting the Palestinian issue.
