Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2300 West Holcombe Boulevard

November 14, 2024- Houston police have learned a woman critically injured in a crash in the 2300 block of West Holcombe Boulevard about 7 p.m. on October 25 has died.

The identity of the deceased female, 39, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer S. Le reported:

The woman was driving a green Jeep Cherokee southbound on Morningside Drive and failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at the intersection of West Holcombe Boulevard. A black Tesla Model S struck the Jeep, pushing it into a maroon Lexus RX 350.

The female driver was transported to an area hospital where doctors pronounced her deceased on Wednesday (November 13).

The investigation is ongoing.
