Christian Mulaire, PE has joined CDM Smith as a senior project manager in the transportation group for North America. Mulaire has 22 years of experience in project management, specializing in design-build, roadway design, maintenance of traffic (MOT), signalization and traffic engineering. In his new role, he will manage transportation projects and lead CDM Smith's technical project teams for clients across North America.
I enjoy helping transportation teams navigate complex projects, manage risk and deliver solutions that improve mobility and create lasting value for the traveling public.

Mulaire has led major transportation projects across multiple states including several in Florida. Some significant projects he has contributed to include the Florida Department of Transportation's District 2, I-95 widening and reconstruction from south of Emerson Street to Atlantic Boulevard; the State Road 9B/I-95 Interchange in Duval County; the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works - South Corridor in Miami-Dade County; and the Florida Department of Transportation's District 4 - I-595 Corridor Improvements in Fort Lauderdale.
Bringing broad transportation expertise and experience with key clients, Christian will be an excellent addition to our team and help lead our technical teams to grow our transportation project portfolio.

Mulaire has a bachelor's in civil engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University and a master's in civil engineering from the University of Southern California. He is also an ARTBA Young Executive Development Program graduate from the class of 2011.
