On December 4, 2025, at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Beijing, Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev met with a delegation from Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, led by its Vice President Luo Ligan.
The parties exchanged views on the possibilities for implementing joint cultural, humanitarian, and educational initiatives, including those related to the 25th anniversary of the SCO to be celebrated in 2026.
