Utility Advisory - January 9, 2025

Southern California Edison (SCE) has implemented a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) due to ongoing fire conditions and extreme winds. This precautionary measure may impact Menifee residents for the next several days.

Key Information:

  • Traffic Signals: Per California Vehicle Code, treat all intersections without working traffic signals as ALL-WAY STOPS for everyone's safety.
  • Outage Updates: Check the latest outage status and view affected areas on the SCE Outage Map.
  • Customer Assistance: For updates, questions, or customer care options, visit sce.com/PSPS or call SCE Customer Service at (800) 611-1911.

  • Menifee Police Department has increased patrols in areas impacted by the power outages to ensure safety and support during this time.

  • Menifee Library (28798 La Piedra Rd.)
    • Hours: Weekdays & Saturday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. | Sunday: Closed

  • Sun City Library (26982 Cherry Hills Blvd.)
    • Hours: Weekdays: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. | Saturday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Sunday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
