Meeting between Albares and French and Moroccan counterparts in Paris confirms Spain's excellent relations with neighbours

​The Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, met on Wednesday in Paris with his French and Moroccan counterparts. The meeting, held on the sidelines of the fourth Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies taking place in the French capital, highlights Spain's excellent relations with t​wo neighbouring countries, France and Morocco.

During a working lunch at the Quai d'Orsay with French Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, Albares reviewed the excellent bilateral relations between Spain and France, as well as the international agenda, with the aim of continuing to work together for European values and peace in the Middle East and Ukraine.
Albares also met with Moroccan Minister Nasser Bourita on the sidelines of the fourth Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies. During their meeting, the two ministers reviewed the excellent relations between Spain and Morocco, which they described as being at an all-time high, reflected in record trade figures and ongoing cooperation in security and migration.

Minister Albares travelled to Paris to take part in the fourth Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies, where he reaffirmed Spain's commitment to equality in international policy and announced that Madrid will host the next Conference, in 2026.​
